Chattanooga: Grand jury gets hotel slaying case

A 29-year-old man charged with murder will have his case sent to the grand jury.

Brandon Eugene Russell is charged in the death of Meco Siler, 29.

Police found Siler's body in her room at the extended stay motel Country Hearth Suites on Jan. 6.

Police arrested Russell three days later on witness testimony.

An autopsy report showed 36 stab wounds in Siler's body.
