CSAS leads 31-30 at halftime in state tournament

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Alex Stallion's layup just two seconds before the halftime buzzer today gave Arts and Sciences a 31-30 lead over Lake County in their Class A state tournament quarterfinal at Middle Tennessee State University.

That margin was the first time the Patriots led in the second quarter after trailing by as much as six. Stallion leads the Patriots (28-4) with 10 points and also has five rebounds at halftime. Lake County guard Rafael Tyler leads all scorers with 18 points, including three 3-pointers.
