Members of the Hamilton County Board of Education just put the kibosh on a plan of six of its employees in the Information and Technology Services department to take a $16,000 conference trip to Philadelphia from June 24-30.
According to records provided by the school board, the trip was for the purpose of updating the employees about the latest technology, Superintendent Jim Scales said.
