Hamilton County School officials have confirmed that a nurse at Soddy-Daisy High School resigned Feb. 16 following allegations of inappropriate conduct with students.

Soddy-Daisy Police Lt. Mike Sneed said he could not comment on the case but said the details have been presented to a Grand Jury. School Spokeswoman Danielle Clark said the woman worked for the school system approximately 12 days and resigned when school officials and police officers began investigating the allegations.

"It was something to do with inappropriate, unprofessional conduct involving students," Clark said.
