CLEVELAND, Tenn. - A new seafood restaurant has added its name to the Five Points community of merchants.
Catch Bar and Grill, at 233 Inman Street East, formally opened its doors Wednesday with a ribbon cutting after six weeks in business.
"I'm excited about being a part of bringing this area back to life," said Clay Walker, a co-owner with Michael Poore.
The men wanted a destination business for the Five Points district. Poore said it had to be an elegant, sit-down restaurant.
"We did some research and felt like Cleveland needed a fresh seafood, full-service, elegant restaurant," he said.
Both men said they believe word of mouth is growing their customer base.
The restaurant hours are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The business has created 30 jobs, the owners said.
In January, four new businesses held a simultaneous Five Points grand opening, joining some others already clustered around First Street Square, the city's new downtown park.
