Coppinger sends letters to agency telling them not to expect funding

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger on March 25 sent a letter to jointly-funded agencies informing them that, due to the anticipated expiration of the sales tax agreement with the city of Chattanooga, they will no longer receive funding from the county. (Coppinger later informed the Times Free Press that not all of these agencies received a letter from his office and that Erlanger hospital would still be fully funded.)

The agencies are:
