U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., this afternoon toured Apison neighborhoods devastated by last week’s tornados.
After talking with several residents whose homes were destroyed, Alexander announced that federal aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency was on its way.
Two FEMA emergency centers will be set up this week, one in Apison, one in Tiftonia.
