“Fashion is about expressing yourself. Some people say you shouldn’t wear something because you’re older. But, in my opinion, fashion doesn’t have age limits. My biggest fashion critic is my daughter. She likes me to add color to my outfits, which is a good thing because I mostly wear black. Black is a strong color that can be dressed up or down. It makes a statement. I also like to shop, and I think there are plenty of places to shop in Chattanooga. I know people who say they have to go to Atlanta or Nashville to shop. I think it’s not where you shop but how you shop. I can get everything I need right here. I can start out at Goodwill and end up in the mall. Atlanta and Nashville may have more stores, but having more stores doesn’t make you more stylish.”
