Lookouts rained out

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

Tuesday night's series opener between the Chattanooga Lookouts and Mississippi Braves at AT&T Field was postponed because of rain. The game was called nearly two hours before the first pitch.

The teams will play a pair of seven-inning games today, beginning at 11:15 a.m. Two of the top 10 prospects in the Atlanta Braves organization, pitchers Randall Delgado and Brett Oberholtzer, are scheduled to start today's games for Mississippi.

Tuesday was supposed to be the final "Most Improved Student Night" at AT&T Field, but that has been rescheduled for Thursday night at 7:15, with the same details applying. Tickets and vouchers for the event will be honored at the Lookouts box office Thursday, and it is not necessary to call ahead of time to reschedule.
