Chattanooga woman accused of TennCare fraud

A Chattanooga woman has been charged with TennCare fraud after the Tennessee Office of Inspector General said she altered a Hydrocodone prescription and tried to use TennCare benefits to pay for the drugs.

Catherine E. Burden, 33, was charged with TennCare fraud and attempting to obtain possession of a controlled substance by fraud. She was arrested after a pharmacy tipped off authorities, according to a news release.
