Chattanooga: Mayor proposes $201 million budget for 2012

Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield is proposing a $201 million operating budget for fiscal year 2012, which begins July 1.

There will be no property tax increase next year, according to the mayor's proposal.

The budget represents an 8.7 percent increase ($16 million) over this year's budget, documents show.

City Council members are reviewing the proposed budget this afternoon.
