The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga softball team lost 11-2 to Alabama in six innings in the Tuscaloosa Regional final of the NCAA tournament on Sunday.
Crimson Tide starting pitcher Kelsi Dunne allowed on hit over five innings to pick up the win, and Amanda Locke went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run to end UTC's season.
The Lady Mocs (44-14) managed to stage a rally in the sixth inning when senior center fielder Lyndsey Stiles got UTC on the board with a two-run double before Alabama's Jackie Traina came in to retire the final two Lady Mocs batters.
