Police are searching for a woman who robbed the Walgreen's pharmacy at 8714 E. Brainerd Road.

At about 4:30 p.m. the woman came into the store and handed a note to the pharmacy technician. According to police the note said, "I have a gun," and demanded specific increments of narcotics. The woman then flashed a gun.

After she received what she demanded, she fled the store in an unknown direction, police said. The store captured surveillance footage of the robbery including a possible suspect vehicle.

The robber is described as a white female, possibly in her late 40s or early 50s with a large build, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with auburn hair pulled up into a bun. She wore sunglasses, a green t-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Converse tennis shoes.

There was also a brown early 1970s model pickup truck leaving the scene at the time of the robbery, police said, however it is unknown if the truck was involved.

If anyone recognizes the woman in the photos, please contact the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
