A man and two woman — one who is eight months pregnant — face meth-related charges after police noticed noticed smoke coming from an adjacent apartment while investigating a disorder early this morning, according to Chattanooga police Sgt. Jerri Weary.
Francio Martinez, Maria Davis and pregnant woman Brittany Pate were charged with initiating manufacture of a meth lab and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police were called to 5430 Crestview Drive in Hixson on a disorder around 1 a.m. this morning. All three were at the address and admitted to having access to a smoking adjacent apartment. Inside the apartment was a working meth lab, which they all admitted to operating.
Pate was taken to a hospital for treatment and will be jailed when she is discharged.
