Chattanooga police seek men who robbed Kangaroo

Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are looking for information about a robbery at Kangaroo Express.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 2 two unknown suspects entered the Kangaroo Express at 2300 Jenkins Road armed with handguns, police said.

The suspects demanded that the clerk open the safe. When the clerk didn't do so, the suspects got angry, and one of them struck the clerk in his face and in the back of his head, police said. They got money from the cash registers and fled.

One suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing blue jeans, black hoodie and something black covering his face. The second suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, wearing a white hoodie, darker denim jeans and something red covering his face, police said.
