Kidz Day is an annual company event we schedule for our employees in the month June. The event gives our employees the opportunity to bring their children to work with them for a full day of fun and to see how their parent(s) spends their day at the newspaper.
-
Kids come together to see what their parents at Times Free Press do and get to be a part of putting out your paper each year on Kidz Day.
We provide varies activities and food throughout the day for the kids. There is no age limit, but the employee must be responsible for their kid(s) and work for the day. Some of the activities include water inflatables, a dunk tank, tie-dyed t-shirts, face painting, marital arts demonstrations, company tours, kid’s newspaper creation, karaoke and much more.
Employees that bring their kid(s) must complete a registration form for safety reason. With dozens of kids in the workplace, we do need to know who they belong to :-).
Based on the feedback from our employees, each year we try to expand the event to include more activities for the kids.
