A Calhoun, Ga., man was shot to death early Saturday during a home-invasion robbery, according to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston.
Two men are in custody and a third is being sought in connection with the death of Jason David Hammond, 42, of 394 Union Grove Church Road.
According to a news release, deputies were called to the house about 2 a.m. Witnesses said three black males came inside and demanded money, shot Hammond and left.
Deputies traced a vehicle the men were in and eventually took two into custody for questioning, the news release stated.
The body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab, and the GBI is assisting in the case, the release stated.
