Parts of Dalton’s Hamilton Street to be closed for Peacock Alley fire cleanup

The northbound lanes of Hamilton Street in front of Peacock Alley in Dalton, Ga., will be closed the week of Nov. 14, Dalton Police Department spokesman Bruce Fazier said.

Peacock Alley was burned in a fire on Oct. 9. During the week of Nov. 14, an environmental company will be cleaning up debris from the area, Frazier said.

The southbound lanes on Hamilton Street will stay open, he said.
