Prep Player of the Week honor roll

• Bledsoe County: QB Cody Holloway passed for three TDs and ran for another, finishing with 214 total offense yards as the Warriors beat Meigs County 44-25 in the Class 3A playoffs.

• Bradley Central: Justin Houston caught five passes for 114 yards and a TD and ran for 28 yards but the Bears, who lost QB Bryce Copeland late in the first quarter, dropped a 34-28 decision at Cookeville in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs.

• Brainerd: Maleek Rooks caught seven passes for 106 yards and ran for a pair of TDs as the Panthers upset East Hamilton 21-14 to advance in the Class 5A playoffs.

• Dade County: Travis Nunley completed two passes for 40 yards and also caught a 22-yard pass from D.J. Case for Dade's only TD in its 20-10 loss to Coosa.

• Gordon Lee: Hayden Moore caught a 37-yard TD pass and finished with 50 receiving yards but the Trojans lost to Darlington 30-7.

• Heritage: Ethan Thompson gained 89 yards and scored two of his team's three TDs in their 21-0 victory over Pickens County.

• LaFayette: Devarus Porter rushed for 133 yards on 16 carries and scored four TDs but the Ramblers lost 36-35 in two overtimes at Gilmer County.

• Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: Bubba Cruz scored both of the Warriors' TDs but they lost 24-14 to Adairsville.

• McCallie: Daniel McClure ran for 207 yards as the Blue Tornado kept its season alive on a 43-yard TD pass from Trent Lusk to Jack Williamson with three seconds left in the game. The Blue Tornado avenged a loss earlier this year to Battle Ground Academy with the 24-17 win.

• Meigs County: Playing both ways as he has most of the season, Travis Savage rushed for 108 yards, caught two passes for 35 yards and scored two TDs in the Tigers' first-round playoff loss to Bledsoe County.

• North Jackson: Daqwan Lowrance caught six passes for 145 yards and two TDs as the Chiefs won their first playoff game, 35-28 over Cleburne County.

• Ooltewah: Bradley Stephens completed 12 of 14 passes for 222 yards and two TDs as the Owls advanced in the Class 5A playoffs with a 42-20 win over Shelbyville.

• Polk County: Alex Akins passed for one TD and ran for two others, compiling 137 yards of offense while also intercepting a pass as the Wildcats bumped off Kingston to advance in the Class 3A playoffs.

• Ridgeland: Darrell Bridges rushed for 104 yards and a TD on 19 carries but Allatoona knocked off Ridgeland 28-7.

• Ringgold: Slade Dale ran for one TD and threw for two more but the Tigers fell to Cedartown 46-32. Dale passed for 232 yards.

• South Pittsburg: Demetric Johnson ran for 162 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries as the Pirates bested Grace Academy 56-13 in a first-round Class A playoff game.
