Andy, as we all knew him, died Friday at age 92.
He was a World War II veteran who reported for the noted Stars and Stripes newspaper throughout the United States and the rest of the world. He later became a writer for famed Arthur Godfrey on television. But he became best known for his closing comments on "60 Minutes."
Andy Rooney prided himself on cleverly and humorously complaining on his broadcasts about people, events and products that annoyed him -- as he entertained us all.
