Six students were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries this morning after a school bus ran off the road striking a tree, according to police.
Police said at approximately 7 a.m. the bus was traveling south at the 8100 block of Hixson Pike and ran off the roadway, striking a tree.
It's unknown at this time what caused the bus to leave the roadway but the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division plans to launch an investigation on the crash.
