PARIS, Tenn. - A former 24th Judicial District Drug Task Force employee is charged with theft and lying to a state auditor.

The arrest on Thursday of former administrative assistant Leona Longworth was the second this week related to the task force.

Fifty-eight-year-old Steve Lee was arrested on Tuesday on charges of theft, official misconduct and lying to an auditor. Lee is the former task force director.

Longworth was released on $10,000 bond, according to The Paris Post Intelligencer.

According to an audit released in August, Longworth and her ex-husband admitted to taking seized items such as drugs, utility trailers and a flat-screen television.

She also said she took home handguns, four-wheelers and other property for her personal use.

She was fired in March.

No phone number was listed for Longworth.
