A micro-grant foundation, a slaw/salsa combination and a student-focused jobs website were the top three finishers in the 48 launch competition over the weekend.

Chattanooga’s 48-hour launch propelled moneymaking ideas from concept to creation over the weekend, culminating in two dozen pitches at downtown’s Track 29 venue as a crowd of more than 100 tweeted their approval.

The winner, Bijan Dhanani’s Un-Foundation micro-grant foundation, won $10,000 in cash and business services. Along the way it morphed from a brainstorm to a legitimate foundation with more than $36,000 in funding and a dozen trustees.
