Tornado watch in effect for Chattanooga and surrounding area until 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Chattanooga and much of surrounding area.
The Weather Service reports that a tornado watch is in effect until 7 p.m. EST in Hamilton and Bradley and 6 p.m. CST, Franklin, Marion and Polk counties in Tennessee.
The watch is in effect until 7 p.m. EST in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties in Georgia and until 6 p.m. CST in Jackson County in Alabama.
