Calhoun police seek pharmacy robber

Police in Calhoun, Ga., are seeking the man who robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Red Bud Road over the weekend.

Police Chief Garry Moss said in a news release Wednesday that the man came into the store about 5:15 p.m. Sunday and passed the pharmacy clerks a note demanding narcotics. The note implied that the man had a gun, Moss said. The clerks turned over an undisclosed amount of narcotics and the man left on foot, the chief said.

The robber was described as white and in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and has a mustache. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball cap and khaki pants.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Calhoun Police Department's criminal investigation division at 706-602-5755 or the Gordon County 911 Center.
