Welcome home, guardsmen!

We gratefully honor all our men and women who are called to military service in dangerous foreign assignments. And we enthusiastically welcome them on their return when their duty is done.

So it is undoubtedly with great pleasure, and some relief, that members of "our" 241st Engineering Installation Squadron of the Tennessee Air National Guard have come home after performing their difficult duties honorably in faraway Afghanistan.

We thank them all for their courageous service to our country -- and for the great personal sacrifice which that service requires.

Welcome home!

Guardsmen, you were sent into harms way for reasons beyond our national security. America needs your voices to speak out against abuse of the US Military by expanding the mission far beyond the protection of our country.

We are becoming the evil empire.
