Knoxville makes Forbes 'Dirtiest Cities' list

Here's a ranking Knoxville would prefer to forget. Property Scope blogger Josh Flory reports that Forbes magazine ranked the Knoxville area 15th on its dirtiest cities list, which ranks cities according to air quality.

Lynne Liddington, director of Knox County air quality management, said Monday that the region's valley areas are meeting federal attainment standards for air particulates and ozone, but the higher elevations are not.
