Kimberly Lynn Farris, 38, is charged with driving under the influence and three counts of child endangerment.
A 38-year-old Ooltewah woman was arrested Sunday just before 1 a.m. after Chattanooga police found her slumped in a vehicle in a Little Caesars parking lot with three small children with her.
Kimberly Lynn Farris faces charges of driving under the influence, three counts of child endangerment and implied consent law after she was found in a car at 9231 Lee Highway.
When police were able to talk with Farris, she was unaware of her surroundings and smelled of alcohol, according to the report. She told officers she was not drinking and had only taken Zoloft and some blood pressure medication.
She refused to submit to a test — which resulted in the implied consent charge — and showed signs of impairment during a field sobriety test. The children were turned over to Child Protective Services.
