Authorities in Massachusetts say a family that got lost in a seven-acre corn maze called 911 for help, apparently taking advantage of the police department's motto that says "We Want To Be Bothered."
The maze at Connors Farm in Danvers can take up to an hour to navigate.
A police officer entered the maze with a farm manager to search for the disoriented father, mother and two children. The family didn't realize they had almost made their way out and were just 25 feet from the street.
Farm owner Bob Connors tells the Boston Globe that they designed the maze so that people get lost in the long corn stalks.

Amazing
No...sad!
Neither. Just dumb Damnyankees. And they talk about Deliverance...25 acres and lost. Take a sighting and make a bee-line for it, kicking stalks down as you go...got to get out sooner or later.
That's my hometown! To be fair, we are completely unfamiliar with agriculture or being outside for extended periods of time.
Oh well.
Maybe they were just too fat to walk that far.
