Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe defeated Dawson County 11-2 to win its best-of-three Georgia Class AA state tournament softball series Thursday.

Megan Smith pitched a five-hitter and Devin Brown had a grand slam to lead the Lady Warriors, who will play Greater Atlanta Christian next Wednesday in another best-of-three series.
