  • Baylor: Matthew Oellerich ran for 113 yards and a touchdown and passed for 90 yards and two scores as the Red Raiders lit up Pope John Paul II, 48-17.

  • Bledsoe County: Brandon Smith gained 226 yards on 25 carries and scored twice as the Warriors moved to 8-1 with their final regular-season game this week at Chattanooga Christian.

  • Bradley Central: Justin Houston scored on a 36-yard run and a 51-yard pass reception and the Bears' defense turned in a second straight shutout in an 18-0 victory over rival Cleveland. Houston had 122 yards of total offense as the Bears moved to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in District 5-AAA.

  • Calhoun: Taylor Lamb ran for a touchdown and passed for five in his team's 42-7 victory over Dade County. Lamb completed 16 of 21 passes for 331 yards.

  • Chattanooga Christian: Jay Sims rushed for 138 yards on just 12 carries and scored twice as the Chargers posted a 51-20 victory over Marion County.

  • Dade County: Travis Nunley's 32-yard interception return accounted for his team's only score in a 42-7 loss to Calhoun.

  • Dalton: Tre Bonds scored two touchdowns and gained 216 yards on 29 carries as the Catamounts erupted for a 30-13 victory over LaFayette.

  • East Hamilton: Hunter Parker rushed for 93 yards and threw a touchdown pass and Lamond Greer added 87 yards on 18 carries as the Hurricanes posted their first victory over Red Bank, 21-18. The win put them in the driver's seat for the Districit 6-AA championship.

  • East Ridge: Eric McCurdy threw three touchdown passes, completing 5 of 10 throws, and the Pioneers remained in the playoff chase with a 42-6 win over Central.

  • Gordon Lee: Klay Durham scored the Trojans' only touchdown on a 14-yard pass from Ryan Chastain in a 34-6 loss to Bowdon.

  • Grace Academy: Corey Nelson caught six passes for 115 yards, including the Golden Eagles' lone score in a 28-7 loss at Grundy County.

  • Grundy County: Johnny Cook scored three touchdowns and picked up 211 yards on 33 carries as the Yellow Jackets kept their playoff hopes alive by beating Grace Academy.

  • Heritage: Jake Sampson completed 17 of 24 passes for 170 yards, and his two TD throws were the difference in the Generals' 14-12 victory over Southeast Whitfield.

  • Howard: JerMichael Hardy pulled in a pass and loped 79 yards, but the Tigers suffered their ninth loss of the season, 54-6 to Tyner on Thursday at Finley Stadium.

  • Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: Bubba Cruz may have been worn out after carrying the ball 28 times for 164 yards, but he scored the game's only TD, putting LFO into the playoffs, in a 7-0 win over Sonoraville.

  • Marion County: Blake Zemen crossed the goal line twice but the Warriors fell 51-20 to Chattanooga Christian.

  • McCallie: Daniel McClure picked up 119 yards on 27 carries and scored once, but the Blue Tornado lost their final 2011 home game by a 24-21 margin to Montgomery Bell Academy.

  • McMinn County: Patrick Lindsey got the call rather than Dre Sanders and responded with 134 yards (10 carries) and two touchdowns, one on a 50-yard sprint, as the Cherokees set up a showdown Friday with Bradley Central for the District 5-AAA championship.

  • Meigs County: Dakota Greene ran for 168 yards and the defense pitched a shutout in a 27-0 victory at Tellico Plains.

  • North Jackson: The Chiefs rallied with the game's last two scores - one a 13-yard fumble return by Chase Lacey - in a 30-21 victory over Fairview. The win kept North Jackson undefeated and gave it the Region 7-4A championship in Alabama.

  • Northwest Whitfield: Nathan Sistrunk rushed for 141 yards on 22 carries, scoring two TDs, to lead his team's 42-13 victory over Woodland.

  • Notre Dame: Matt Reilly had three TD catches among his seven receptions and finished with 146 receiving yards in the Irish's 45-0 victory over Whitwell.

  • Polk County: Alex Akins gained 162 yards, 70 and a TD on one play, but the Wildcats didn't score until late in the third quarter in a 34-14 loss to South Pittsburg.

  • Red Bank: Niquia McDuffie passed for 183 yards and a TD and rushed for 54 yards and another score, but the Lions were upset 21-18 by East Hamilton.

  • Ridgeland: Trevor Long tossed two touchdown passes as the Panthers bumped off neighbor Ringgold 34-24.

  • Ringgold: Shaun Anderson ran for 136 yards and a TD on 27 carries, but the Tigers fell to Ridgeland 34-24.

  • Silverdale Baptist: Spencer Mossburg ran for two scores and passed for another as the Seahawks rolled to a 35-20 victory over Taft Youth Center.

  • Soddy-Daisy: Brett Standifer ran for one score and passed for two, picking up 237 passing yards in the Trojans' 44-20 loss to District 5-AAA co-leader McMinn County.

  • South Pittsburg: Demetric Johnson ran for 173 yards on 14 carries, scoring a TD, as the Pirates rolled over Polk County 34-14.

  • Tyner: Willie Stewart returned a kickoff 93 yards for a score, returned an interception 47 yards for his second TD, rushed for one TD and passed for another as the Rams rolled over Howard 54-6 and kept their playoff hopes alive heading into a home game with Red Bank.
