A man who was accused of shooting his stepfather Tuesday night turned himself in to police today.

According to Chattanooga police spokeswoman Jerri Weary, Marcus Jones and another man were arguing with 44-year-old Kenneth Eady at 2709 Roanoak Ave. when Jones pulled a gun and shot the older man.

Jones turned himself in Wednesday and identified the other man as 25-year-old Karon Thompson. Police have obtained warrants charging Thompson with aggravated assault for allegedly beating Eady with his fists, Weary said.

Police are still looking for Thompson.
