Warrants issued against David Guyton in Calhoun, Ga., police officer shooting case

Arrest warrants have been issued for a Calhoun man in connection with a shooting last week of a police officer, Calhoun Police Department Chief Garry Moss said in a news release.

The warrants against David Guyton, 33, are for criminal attempt to commit murder and aggravated assault, Moss said.

Guyton was released from Erlanger hospital on Friday and is at the Hamilton County Jail awaiting extradition to Gordon County, Ga., Moss said.
