Paladins lead Mocs 3-0

Saturday, October 29, 2011

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team trails Furman 3-0 after three quarters of play this afternoon at Finley Stadium.

Despite a pair of interceptions by Mocs quarterback Terrell Robinson in the third quarter, UTC is still in the game thanks to a strong defensive performance.

After three quarters, Furman has 154 yards of offense, and just five first downs, while the Mocs have 128 yards and nine first downs.

UTC didn't allow a point to Furman in the first quarter, stretching its streak to six straight opening quarters without allowing any points. UTC didn't give up any points in the second quarter, either. But the Mocs (4-4, 2-3 SoCon) had more trouble moving the ball than Furman (4-3, 3-2) in the scoreless first half.
