Clarity, a division of Plantronics which makes amplification and other communication equipment for seniors, is moving its headquarters to 6131 Preservation Drive in Chattanooga.

Clarity bought the 22-year-old, 10,500-square-foot building in May for $825,000. Clarity President Carsten Trads said the move will help the company build a new acoustics lab and expand engineering, marketing, sales, operations and customer service departments.

The 50-employee company has been on Bonny Oaks Drive since August 2000.
