Deaths of teen and unborn child under investigation

The Murray County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a teenage woman and her unborn child.

Sheriff Howard Ensley tells Channel 3 investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine if the deaths of 19-year-old Megan Long and her unborn child are drug-related.

The sheriff says it is possible the woman was trying to conceal a small bag of meth, which busted and triggered her death; however, this is just one of many scenarios under investigation.
