Hamilton County Schools close, Whitfield schools have delayed opening

The Hamilton County Schools are closed today because of weather conditions, Superintendent Rick Smith said.

Whitfield County Schools, like many others in the area, were on a two-hour delay.

Smith said power outages and trees being down had led to the decision to close the Hamilton County Schools.
