Hamilton County Schools to have an hour delay in opening Wednesday

Hamilton County Schools will have a delay of an hour in opening on Wednesday in the wake of heavy rains and flooding that led to their being closed today.

Superintendent Rick Smith said the delay is prompted by a desire to have buses picking up students in daylight.

He said debris on roads is another reason for the delayed openings.
