A man found hanging upside-down from a climbing wall at Greenway Farms in Hixson has been rescued after a passer-by discovered him this afternoon.
Hamilton County EMS workers received the call shortly before 4 p.m. and found the man hanging from a rope at a remote climbing wall on park property, according to Chattanooga police dispatchers. It was unclear how long he had been hanging on the wall or how he had gotten there.
Dispatchers said the man suffered injuries to his ankles, face, arm and possibly to his back.
He has now been transported to Erlanger hospital, a Hamilton County dispatcher said.
No additional information was immediately available.

How much of the cost of rescuing this White Devil Eiger-sanction wannabe will the taxpayers bear?
It was just Al Gore looking for Man-Bear-Pig.
Hey MVB, if they found you swinging from a rope, they wouldn't call for an ambulance, they'd call for.....a beer truck with taps on the outside. Ceeeelebrate good times - come on!
It would cost just as much to pay a rescue crew to work as it would to not work.
