The North Georgia EMC has reported that power has been restored to most of its customers as of 4 a.m. today.
The electricity distributor said there are still a small number of individual outages or scattered outages that occurred during the night.
NGEMC said that falling trees may lead to additional outages and asked customers still without power to report it by emailing labordaystorm@ngemc.com or by calling one of its four offices at the following numbers: Dalton - (706)-259-9441; Calhoun – (706) 629-3160; Fort Oglethorpe – (706) 866-2231; and Trion - (706) 734-7341.
The power outages had been due to heavy rains and storms that moved through the Chattanooga area earlier this week.
