AT&T has fixed three of four down towers in Chattanooga area

AT&T has repaired three of the four towers that were damaged by Tropical Storm Lee's high winds, officials say.

Customers began experiencing service interruptions while placing and receiving mobile-to-mobile calls shortly after the storm hit, and AT&T's' repair personnel have been working "around the clock to restore service to the affected towers," said spokeswoman Cathy Lewandowski.

This is the second time this year the company's infrastructure has been battered by severe weather. A series of tornadoes in April temporarily knocked out service in Ringgold and Apison.
