Catoosa Court Clerk Norman Stone dies

Norman Stone, clerk of court for Catoosa County, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, according to a notice on the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit website.

Arrangements were pending, according to the website.

McCracken Poston, a Catoosa County attorney, posted a tribute on Facebook saying that the entire legal community is saddened by the unexpected death. Poston noted that Stone was a former Ringgold High School teacher and “great public servant.”
