"Fashion is having confidence in what you wear and how you feel when wearing it. It doesn't matter if you wear something trendy or not. If you're confident, you can work with what you've got. I suggest that you don't show off assets that you don't have. Find what looks best on you. I do read fashion magazines, but I try not to buy too many of the season's trendy pieces because they're in one season and out the next. Instead, I look for staple pieces that can last year after year. I'll buy a few funky accessories and good shoes that will add a pop of color and help to make an old dress come alive again."
