Kohl's plans to mark the grand opening of new stores in Hixson and Dalton, Ga., on Sept. 28, employing 260 people, an official said Wednesday.
The Hixson store is on Highway 153 next to Academy Sports + Outdoors. The Dalton site is at 835 Shugart Road, the company said.
"At Kohl's, when we say, 'Expect great things,' we mean it," said Sam Beauregard, district manager for the new Kohl's locations.
Also Wednesday, Kohl's had a grand reopening of its Gunbarrel Road store in Chattanooga as it underwent a refurbishing.
