Two people died tonight in a wreck on I-75 in Whitfield County.

The accident occurred at 7 p.m. in the northbound lanes near milemarker 335 and Dug Gap Mountain Road, according to Whitfield County dispatchers.

Georgia Highway Patrol officers are still investigating the accident. The names of the victims and details of the accident weren't immediately available.
