UTC at 125

How fortunate we are to have the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga -- whose 125th year we happily note this year.

It began as Chattanooga University in 1886. Later, it became known as Grant University, and later still as the independent University of Chattanooga. Then, when it became a part of the University of Tennessee system in 1969, its name was changed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

UTC is a most valuable asset, offering educational opportunities -- and great economic value, too. We salute our university and its faculty, as well as its fine students, who benefit in so many ways from this educational asset.
