2 killed on I-75 in Whitfield

Two people died Saturday night in a wreck on Interstate 75 in Whitfield County, Ga.

The accident occurred at 7 p.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 335 and Dug Gap Mountain Road, according to Whitfield County dispatchers.

Georgia Highway Patrol officers were investigating the accident.
