University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football coach Russ Huesman knows the Mocs face No. 3-ranked Appalachian State on Saturday. He knows the Mountaineers have won or shared seven consecutive Southern Conference titles. He knows that App State is the measuring stick for programs in the Football Championship Subdivision.
And it does not give him a moments pause.
“We told them this week that we’re not going to do anything different,” Huesman said at his weekly meeting with the media Tuesday at McKenzie Arena, “we’re just going to do it better.”
Better will certainly be needed. UTC (2-1) has lost 13 consecutive games at ASU.
