An 11-year-old girl who was thrown from a car last week in a traffic accident has died, according to Chattanooga police.
The crash happened Sept. 19 at 3400 Rossville Blvd. Police said Rosalia Velasquez, 38, was driving north with her daughter and her 6-year-old son riding unrestrained in the vehicle.
