High school sports standouts for Sept. 26


Kalei Kimbrell, Gordon Lee: She threw a three-inning perfect game and added two RBIs as she and her teammates posted a 15-0 win over Excel in the opening round of the Georgia 6-A tournament at Rome.


Rachel Travis, Baylor: She contributed 18 kills and 11 digs as the Lady Red Raiders shut out East Hamilton 3-0 and improved to 23-8.

Erin Hill, Sale Creek: She had 22 kills, 21 digs and eight assists as the Lady Panthers defeated Sale Creek and Rhea County by 2-0 scores to improve to 29-8 for the season.

Sara Holder, Gordon Lee: She had 15 kills and 14 digs in two matches, 2-0 wins over Ridgeland and Ringgold, as her team improved to 25-3.

Regan Robertson, Silverdale Baptist: She had 10 assists and six aces with four kills as the Lady Seahawks improved to 17-16 overall and 5-0 in District 5-A with a 3-0 victory at Copper Basin.
